Challenge:

Empowering our community of artists to showcase their work and engage with the community through our magazine requires a seamless and transparent process. Utilizing the MODE Network, we aim to create a platform where artists can easily upload and mint their art, the community can vote for their favorite pieces to be featured as cover art, and earn tokens for various actions.

Solution:

LivingChain Showcase is a project designed to facilitate community art upload, minting, and voting using smart contracts on the MODE Network. This system will allow artists to mint their artwork as NFTs, receive tokens for their contributions, and participate in a community voting system to determine which pieces are featured in the magazine. Additional tokens are awarded to artists whose work is selected, and these tokens can later be used for entry to events and other rewards.

Why it is important:

LivingChain Showcase will provide a decentralized and transparent platform for community artists to easily showcase their work, get involved in the community we’re educating them on, and be rewarded for their contributions. This project will enhance the magazine's content and increase community involvement. The system ensures transparency and security, making the process fair and engaging for all participants, as well as showing artists in real-time the value of putting their art on-chain.
